Alleged Murder - US Citizen Passes on During Vacation in Sierra Leone

By Dadson A Musa

A mysterious death has occurred in Bo, southern Sierra Leone of one Mohamed S. Kamara. This happened on the 23rd. July 2025 by Shelmingo when everyone went to sleep. On that fateful night the deceased, Mohamed S. Kamara was alleged to be with only his wife, Isha Kamara and daughter upon arrival in Bo from the United States of America. ” He was hale and hearty when he came from America”, one relative narrated. After just one night of sleep at his residence he was found dead the following morning. Members of the deceased’ s family became suspicious of the sudden death of their relative. So, they called for an autopsy.

The corpse was taken to Freetown for autopsy by Dr. Owizz Koroma after reporting to the Bo west police station. The matter was also reported to AIG Kanneh of the southern region. The attached autopsy report proved that the deceased ” has a fractured skull” and therefore did not pass away naturally. The family members are demanding answers from especially the wife, Isha with whom he went to bed that night. And you can sense the desperation and anguish from them as late Mohamed S. Kamara was a strong pillar in the family. Although the wife Isha Kamara who has Guinean origin is saying that she is innocent, but family members are not convinced with her explanation as ” only the two of them with their daughter went to bed that night.” Police investigations continue with the deceased’ s family insisting that the wife, Isha Kamara must be in detention while the investigation is ongoing. This is so that she doesn’t influence the outcome of the police investigation. And currently there is outrage and fury from family members as to who is behind the suspicious murder of their relative.
