The Acting Auditor-General, Abdul Aziz has submitted the Auditor-General’s Annual Report 2022 to Parliament on Thursday14th December, 2023.

The report was submitted in line with Section 119(4) of the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone which states that the Auditor-General shall within twelve months of the end of the immediate preceding financial year, submit his report to Parliament and shall in that report draw attention to any irregularities in the audited accounts and to any other matter which in his opinion ought to be brought to the notice of Parliament.

According to the Senior Information, Education and Communication Officer, Martin Sandy, the Report will be uploaded on the Audit Service Sierra Leone’s website after it has been laid in Parliament. He assured the public that the ASSL will continue to be a leading audit organisation promoting excellence and accountability in public institutions.
