In a move to strengthen national security and reinforce military readiness, Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh engaged the Quick Response Force at the Joint Force Command and the 3rd Infantry Battalion in a strategic meeting on September 4th, 2024. The visit, which underscores government’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability, was marked by high-level discussions on the current security landscape and the role of the military in addressing emerging threats.
During his address, Vice President Jalloh commended the personnel for their dedication and service to the nation. He highlighted the importance of the Quick Response Force in responding to national emergencies and ensuring the safety of citizens. “Your role is critical in our efforts to safeguard the peace and security that Sierra Leone enjoys today,” Jalloh remarked.
The Vice President also took the opportunity to assess the operational capabilities of the forces, emphasizing the need for continuous training and capacity building to keep pace with evolving security challenges. He assured the troops of the government’s ongoing support in providing the necessary resources and equipment to enhance their effectiveness.
