This article makes a strong case about the need to maintain a sense of purpose in the pursuit of life’s journey. Several theoretical dispositions exist as to why it really matters to maintain a sense of purpose. It is argued that proper planning prevents pathetic performance and that failing to plan is an indication of planning to fail. So, no matter what life throws at you, keep your head up. In problem solving, it has been discussed and advanced that mankind cannot live without problems and that we should also not leave problems to become challenges and or obstacles. Rather, we are to see situations and circumstances as opportunities to overcome and to attain enviable growth. This is what is required of every human. The ability to believe and the need to be determined to achieve success is crucial. That is not to say that things will be rosy at all times, but then, no matter what, we have to keep it going and strong!
All of us may have heard, seen and or experience different success stories. Whiles circumstances may vary, it is almost agreeable that most if not all success stories come with profound and daunting challenges. That is to say, no one wakes up one morning and become that successful. Success in the real sense has never and will never be magical. It is not bought. No matter what, the hard work has to show. The blend of being smart, lucky and pragmatic is also necessary. By that, it should put us all in a situation to agree that success is systematic and that achieving it requires actuality, reality and sincerity. If we agree that all work and no play makes one a dull person and that all play and no work makes one somehow thoughtless, we could as well advance that strategic thinking matters very strongly in the pursuit of success. If you try to look around you, there is a possibility to see some examples and yes, that will be a clear justification.
In all you do, your effort is very important. Even from religious perspectives, there has never been a time when the Almighty will tell people to worship Him all day and all night. That is to tell and suggest to us all that we owe it to ourselves to fend for ourselves and our families, if you like. Being idle is a recipe for many vices and problems, but with smartness and being industrious, a lot of progressive opportunities may and could exist and if one is calculated enough, very many other virtues would be achieved and in no time. So, as you put God first, learn to work hard and smartly too. That will push you into higher and even greater heights. There are notions that argue that hard work breeds success and so, imagine if you add being smart and apt? Therefore, the world over, it is necessary to know what to do and how to do same. Those justifications will ensure the realization of strategic and well-to-do situations and destinations, most if not all the time.
I am on record to have argued, preached and lectured against being defeatist and defeating. That is more like an approach to say that ‘I am willing not to do ABC or, I know I’m incapable to do so and so.’ If you are to ask many people that have done and or achieved a good number of things, it is very possible that at some point, some of them may and or would have thought of giving up or to not continue etc, but something may have just kept them going. I therefore say to one reading this, that is what you need in life. Sometimes, we all could get bad days, experiences and circumstances, but that should not determine the final outcome of situations. We must not allow the issues to be bigger than us. If we see ourselves as problem solvers and critical thinkers, we must match the expected standards and ensure that we do not look back and not allow certain norms to get the better of us. A life without challenges is almost impossible and so, keep pressing.
I have deliberately penned this article because I am convinced that it will be ageless. If you manage to do what has been proposed herein, it is very possible that no matter what, you’d get going. Fun fact – As at the time of writing this article, I had a number of unfinished assignments, but because I had made up my mind to put these thoughts together, I worked with my instinct. So, and again, do you and do not give up. Just press and be apt! In no time, you would see the results and you’d be glad you maintained your and that sense of purpose in life.
