The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), in collaboration with the North-West Regional Football Association (NWRFA), today commenced a two-day capacity-building seminar on ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ป๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ for strategic football administrators across the North-West Region.
The seminar brings together administrators representing clubs, District Football Associations, and the Regional FA, with a focus on strengthening administrative efficiency, improving competition organisation, and enhancing player registration and data management through the FIFA Connect system.
The opening ceremony was graced by the ๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐, ๐๐ฅ๐ข ๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก-๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐๐ฌ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฅ, Mohamed โ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ โ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐.
In his statement, Vice President 1 Ali Badara Tarawallie described the training as a key component of the SLFAโs ๐ซ๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ-๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐, designed to uplift the standard of competition management and player administration nationwide. He emphasized that improving the quality of football administration at the grassroots and regional levels remains a top priority of the ๐๐ฑ๐๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐ญ, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐.

In his remarks, NWRFA Chairman Abdul Osman Turay expressed sincere appreciation to the SLFA for what he described as a ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐. He stated that the seminar represents a significant step toward improving football governance in the North-West Region, particularly in the areas of digital player registration, data management, and administrative transparency.
Chairman Turay encouraged all participants to fully utilise the opportunity, noting that the knowledge gained will play a critical role in strengthening football structures within their respective districts and clubs.
The two-day seminar continues with technical sessions on competition planning, regulatory compliance, and practical application of the FIFA Connect system, as the SLFA continues its drive to professionalise football administration across Sierra Leone.
