The Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA), Madam Haja Musayero Barrie, has received international praise for her outstanding contribution to global aviation during the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Global Summit held in Durban.
Representing Sierra Leone on one of the world’s biggest aviation platforms, Madam Barrie delivered a compelling presentation that highlighted strategies to strengthen aviation safety, innovation, and regional collaboration. Her address was met with admiration from industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders, who described it as both visionary and practical.
Delegates commended her clarity in outlining reforms Sierra Leone is implementing to modernize its aviation sector, including compliance with ICAO standards, investment in human capital, and the promotion of sustainable aviation practices.
