AI Professional College, located in the heart of Kingtom, Freetown, has marked its 10th anniversary with the graduation of over 150 students, reaffirming its growing contribution to Sierra Leone’s educational sector.

Founded in 2014, the institution has steadily expanded both in reputation and capacity, establishing itself as a reliable academic partner to prestigious universities such as Njala University and Ernest Bai Koroma University, over the past decade, AI Professional College has strengthened its academic programs and institutional collaborations, offering students a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience across various disciplines.

At the recent graduation ceremony, proud graduate Saidu Abdulrahman Kamara, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, expressed his appreciation for the opportunities the college provided.

I am extremely proud to be a graduate of AI Professional College, Kamara said. This institution has equipped me with the tools I need to succeed. I encourage other young people to consider AI College if they want to build a solid foundation for their future.”

Speaking during the event, Mr. Gibrilla Amos Kargbo, the College Registrar, highlighted the broad range of academic programs offered, including diplomas and degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, and Public Administration, as well as other professional certifications. He noted that AI College adopts a blended learning approach, combining face-to-face lectures with digital tools to enhance student engagement and academic performance.

The institution’s commitment to delivering affordable, quality education has remained at the core of its mission empowering young Sierra Leoneans to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global job market. Looking to the future, the college plans to expand its programs and deepen its partnerships with local and international universities, further extending access to higher education for students across Sierra Leone.
