Madam Lulu Luseni, the newly elected Women’s Leader of the SLPP North America Washington DC chapter, recently arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone, for her first official visit since taking office. Her arrival sparked widespread excitement and pride, particularly among grassroots women who have long championed her efforts in community empowerment and advancing women’s representation within the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP). The Cooperative Women Society hosted a lively welcoming ceremony in Freetown to celebrate Madam Luseni’s arrival.
