Following continued hearings on Friday 24/01/2025, on the Auditor General’s Report for 2023 in respect of Zoodlabs outstanding liabilities owed to the Government of Sierra Leone to the tune of $ 760,000, the parliamentary Public Accounts Committee (PAC) during its seventh sitting accepted a resolution for a monthly payment of $ 60,000, beginning January 2025 to offset these liabilities binding on the agreement with the Government of Sierra Leone.
The Chairman of PAC and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh has praised Audit Service Sierra Leone for doing a good job for the People and Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
After the resolution was taken, Hon. Ibrahim Tawa Conteh has directed the PAC’s Secretariat to communicate the resolution to Zoodlabs and also tell them to communicate any monthly payment to PAC for records and to tally its evidence of recovery.
He also underscored that under the contract agreement, Zoodlabs had settled some of its outstanding liabilities and that the acceptable payment plan is favourable to keep them in business.
