Three (3) Defendants, Musa Lahai a commercial bike rider, Ibrahim Kamara another commercial bike rider and one Abubakarr Konneh have on October 8, 2025 remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre (SLCC)by the Principal Magistrate, Hadiru Daboh in Kenema for Burglary and Larceny.
The three Defendants were arrainged in court for Conspiracy Contrary to Law and for Burglary and Larceny contrary to section 25(1) and 13(a) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the Prosecutor, ASP Sulaiman Kamara Esq. the three Defendants on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Panderu Village, Nongowa Chiefdom, Kenema Judicial District in the Eastern province of the Republic of Sierra Leone, conspired with unknown persons to commit a felony to wit Burglary and Larceny. On the afformentioned date and Venue, the three Defendants with the intent to steal, broke and entered into the dwelling house of Kadiatu Kamara and stole one Itel Android mobile phone valued Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Forty (NLe 2, 240) New Leones, property of the said Kadiatu Kamara. No plea was taken and the three Defendants were remanded at the Sierra Leone Correctional Centre. The matter was adjourned to October 16, 2025 for hearing.
In another news, Foday Kemokai alias D9 and Mohamed Kallon alias Akor made their maiden appearance before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh on three count charges ranging from Conspiracy to unlawful possession Contrary to law.
According to ASP Sulaiman Kamara Esq. the two Defendants on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Dama Road Round About in Kenema city, conspired with unknown individuals to commit a crime to wit being found in possession of House Breaking implements. The two Defendants, Foday Kemokai and Mohamed Kallon, on the afformentioned date and place, were found in possession of one Star HLX 125 motor bikes with Registration Numbers AXG 987 suspected to have been stolen or illegally possess or obtained.
The two Defendants pleaded not guilty on all the three counts. They were remanded at the SLCC whilst the matter was adjourned to October 16, 2025 for hearing.
