Mayors Bid Farewell to First Lady

Her Excellency, Madam Fatima Maada Bio, First Lady of Sierra Leone, on Monday 19th August 2024 officially bade farewell to a delegation of mayors who will be attending a two-week seminar in China on green public works. Facilitated by the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), this seminar aims to advance sustainable urban development across Sierra Leone.

In a meeting at her Goderich office, Her Excellency extended her best wishes, encouraging the mayors to represent Sierra Leone with distinction and emphasizing the seminar’s importance to the nation’s development.

Leading the delegation, NaCSA Commissioner Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina was commended by Her Excellency for his dedication to promoting the government’s agenda.

The delegation, which includes Mayor Robinson Mohamed Mamoud of Bonthe, Mayor Kobba Musa of Bo, councilor Kandeh Mariama of Koidu City, Deputy Mayor Koroma Rugiatu Suliaman of Kenema, Mayor Tarawallie Alie Badara of Port Loko and Kamara Abubakarr of Makeni, expressed their gratitude to the First Lady for her ongoing support to the People of Sierra Leone.
